I've been painting on location for over 30 years.

I started painting en plein air when I went out hiking with my grandmother in the high Sierras. We would take our watercolor kits and find a nice boulder to sit on. There we would have the most wonderful time sketching and painting together and enjoying all that nature has to offer.

I am an artist ambassador for The Royal Talens, Rembrandt Paint Company and a Silver Brush Educator.

Italy is one of my favorite places to paint

I've painted all over the world and taught plein air workshops in Italy and New Zealand. I never go on a trip without my paints.

My students often take too many supplies along and don't use even half of what they bring.
